Event and Participation
What is the KF1 International 24-Hour Corporate Challenge?
A corporate endurance kart event created from a format established in Italy in 2003. Tunisia 2027 is its first international standalone event.
Is Tunisia 2027 part of the 2028 Championship?
No. Tunisia 2027 is a standalone international event. The eight-round Championship begins in 2028.
When and where will Tunisia 2027 take place?
The event will take place at Hergla International Kart Race Track in Tunisia. The race starts on Friday 22 October 2027 at 14:00 and finishes on Saturday 23 October.
Who can participate?
Companies, brands and private teams may submit an expression of interest, subject to the official participation requirements.
Do drivers need to be professionals?
No. The event is designed primarily for corporate and amateur participation. Detailed eligibility and safety requirements will be published in the Race Regulations.
Teams and Registration
How many teams can participate?
A maximum of 50 teams can be confirmed.
How many drivers are in a team?
The standard team entry is based on 12 drivers.
Can one company enter more than one team?
Yes. A company, brand or private-team identity may enter a maximum of two teams.
How are places allocated?
Confirmed registrations are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Sending an expression of interest does not reserve a place.
When is an entry confirmed?
An entry is confirmed only after KF1 has received and approved the complete registration documents, signed participation agreement and required payment.
How are race numbers assigned?
Race numbers are assigned in the order in which completed registrations are formally confirmed, from number 1 to number 50.
What happens if all 50 places are filled?
Later eligible applicants may be placed on a waiting list under the conditions published in the Participation Terms.
Can an entry be cancelled, substituted or transferred?
The official cancellation, substitution and transfer conditions will be published in the Participation Terms. No provisional website statement overrides those terms.
Race Format and Karts
Is the race run for 24 consecutive hours?
The event includes 24 hours of racing divided into four six-hour heats.
How is the final race result calculated?
Each team’s best three heat results count towards the final sporting classification. Its weakest heat result is discarded.
Do laps from the discarded heat count for charity?
Yes. Every completed lap across all four heats counts towards the team’s charitable donation.
What karts are used?
Teams use identical KF1 TATANKA karts powered by Honda GX390 four-stroke 390 cc 13 HP engines.
Are the karts drawn by lot?
No. One kart is allocated to each team and remains with that team throughout all four heats.
Fees and Included Services
What is the team entry fee?
The team entry fee is EUR 14,990. Any applicable tax treatment will be stated in the official quotation and participation agreement.
What does the entry fee include?
The fee covers the race entry for 12 drivers, one allocated kart, race organisation, spare parts, pit garage and setup, telemetry, technical assistance, fuel and consumables, training and safety briefings, specified insurance, medical assistance during on-track activities and accidental damage cover up to EUR 200 per team.
What is not included?
Flights, accommodation, transfers, food and beverage, circuit catering, gala dinner, clothing and all optional travel, hospitality or accessory services are excluded.
Is team clothing included?
No. Driver and team clothing will be offered separately after the Sparco programme is confirmed.
Travel and Hospitality
Will travel and hospitality packages be available?
Yes. Standardised modular packages will be released for accommodation, airport and circuit transfers, circuit catering and the gala dinner.
Are flights included or booked by KF1?
No. Participants arrange and purchase their own flights.
Who supplies and collects payment for travel services?
Must Incentive supplies, contracts, invoices and collects payment directly for the travel and hospitality services.
Charitable Contribution
How does fundraising work?
KF1 donates the principal contribution generated through declared allocations linked to entries, selected services and sponsorships. Separately, every team commits to donating one euro for every lap completed across all four heats.
Which organisations receive the donations?
FFC Ricerca is the first confirmed Official Charity Beneficiary. A second official beneficiary will be announced shortly. Teams choose between the official beneficiaries of the competition.
Will the results and charitable amounts be published?
Yes. After each event, KF1 will publish verified results, lap totals, charitable amounts and beneficiary information.
